Travel going open source is exciting news for the industry. This collaboration will gradually address many chronic fragmentation issues that have been making this industry inefficient, and will ultimately benefit travelers, as well as accommodation, transport, and experience providers.

Congrats, OpenTravel Alliance! By joining Overture Maps Foundation, "OTA will work with another leading consortium to resolve one of the travel industry’s most persistent challenges: standardizing location data across the highly fragmented ecosystem of travel providers, platforms, and markets by establishing open, interoperable mapping frameworks." Very exciting indeed. #AgenticHospitality + OpenTravel Alliance + Overture Maps Foundation = Agentic Hotel Distribution for AI Era of Travel
