🎯“Do You Have Any Questions for Us?” – Don’t Waste This! 🎯 The wrong answer? “No, I think we covered everything.” Instead, impress the interviewer with: ✅ “What does success look like in this role?” ✅ “What’s the biggest challenge your team is facing?” ✅ “How do you support career growth?” Smart questions = Smart candidates. Love this take
Eitan Edelman I recently applied for the Supply Chain Manager/Director position and was wondering if you'd be willing to connect me with the hiring manager for the role. I’d really appreciate any support or insight you could offer—thanks in advance for your time and help!
Opening question, What did you see in my qualifications that prompted our discussion today? What is the reason behind this opening, is it a newly designated position, or did someone leave (or were they promoted?) How many people in your department have been promoted in the past year? What do you expect in the first 90 days from the person who takes this role? And always near the closure, 'do you have any concerns about my background? . . and close with 'What are the next steps in the Process? (after they explain), then, 'I'd like to follow up next XX day . . does that sound good to you?
I always want to ask questions that will open up the conversation to exchanges of questions. Such as ask: Thank you so much for your time and consideration as well is there anything that you read on my application or resume that you would like detailed or clarification on? Or.. I know all to well that though the 28 years I have spent working in or managing all fields of this industry no two positions are ever the same, so is there anything that you have read about me or I have told you that you would like me to elaborate on ? Or Possibly can you tell me what experience you feel I have gained from my past roles that you feel might be the most beneficial for me to becoming a positive attribute to your team? You know and wrap it up with…. When do I start? <~ Let’s face it that’s the he most important question in any interview…. And yes I applied to your remote position you posted as well as I have sent you a message on here as to why I am a valuable employee that will not only make you feel better about your decision to offer me the opportunity but that I can begin ASAP. Talk to you tomorrow? Or feel free to call me anytime at your earliest opportunity no matter what time or day it is. - Rhonda Hudson
Love this 🫶🏽✨
Eitan Edelman could you please check your inbox? I’m wondering if anyone is currently reviewing applications and what the purpose is of Pivotal Solutions posting so many openings without providing any responses? Thanks
Great tips! I struggled with the question part in my first interview. Getting better at it now. Eitan Edelman - I applied to your SCM Manager/Director role. I'd love an opportunity to chat more when you have a moment.
I love it when a candidate has done their research on the company or even on me and they ask questions specific to their research.
My questions are specific to the company. I would say in researching your company I saw you posted X on LinkedIn. I’d like to ask XYZ based on a recent post, PR release, etc. This shows I am taking their time and the opportunity seriously.

4moGreat list... I like when candidates ask "What impact do you expect this person to have made at day 90-120.." Or, "What are the key metrics this positions is held accountable to?"
