🚀 Honored to Welcome H.E. Dr. Tidiane Ouattara at Planetek Italia We had the great privilege of hosting H.E. Dr. Tidiane Ouattara, Head of the African Space Agency (AFSA), at Planetek Italia, where he met with Planetek CEO Giovanni Sylos Labini and D-Orbit President Dr. Simonetta Di Pippo. During this visit, we engaged in insightful discussions on advancing space-based solutions for Africa, fostering private-public partnerships, and exploring joint initiatives to strengthen the continent’s space ecosystem. Key highlights included:  ✅ Exploring collaboration opportunities with AFSA and African stakeholders  ✅ Enhancing sustainability and ownership of EO solutions  ✅ Preparing for upcoming strategic events such as New Space for Africa and the African Space Solutions Market (MASS 2026) H.E. Dr. Ouattara also expressed appreciation for both Planetek’s and D-Orbit’s participation in AFSA-organized events, including the New Africa Space Conference 2025 in Cairo and the African Space Solutions Market (MASS 2025) in Abidjan. Giovanni Sylos Labini and Dr. Simonetta Di Pippo reaffirmed the strong commitment of our group to continuing active participation in future editions, reflecting our growing interest in the African market as Africa emerges as a major contributor to the global space sector. 🤝 This visit marks an important step toward building strong international cooperation and creating meaningful impact through Earth Observation and in-orbit services as part of our group’s shared mission.
