Port Houston employees came together for a company-wide volunteer event with the Houston ToolBank. Teams from Turning Basin Terminal, Barbours Cut and Bayport Container Terminals volunteered to build 16 picnic tables and 6 garden beds. These were donated to community organizations including the 5th Ward Community Redevelopment Center, Finca Tres Robles, Houston Botanic Garden, and Holland Middle School. This effort aligns with Houston ToolBank’s ongoing work to enhance outdoor spaces at schools and nonprofits. As a 2024 Port Houston Community Grant recipient, they’re creating lasting impact, and we were excited to help bring that vision to life.
