It was interesting to see, For the first time, OpenAI is in a position where it has to fight back in the coding space. 💻✨ Anthropic has been leading the game for over a year with Sonnet 3.5, which quickly became the default for coding assistants and made waves with the viral Claude Code. 🔥 While GPT-5 alone didn’t fully replace Sonnet, OpenAI’s Codex suite is moving at lightning speed ⚡ — and now, they’ve launched a special version of GPT-5 trained to handle coding tasks more like a real software engineer would. 👩💻👨💻 #AI #OpenAI #Anthropic #Google #Coding #Innovation

🚀 OpenAI just dropped GPT-5 Codex — the next-gen AI coding agent Unlike its predecessors, GPT-5 Codex is far more dynamic: ⚡ Can work anywhere from a few seconds → 7 hours on a single coding task ⚡ Excels at agentic coding benchmarks ⚡ Brings massive flexibility for real-world software development This means Codex can now handle both quick bug fixes and long, complex builds — a huge leap in how we think about AI-assisted coding. The rollout has already begun across Codex products, with API access coming soon. 👉 Is this the beginning of AI devs working as your coding teammates rather than just autocomplete assistants? #OpenAI #GPT5 #Codex #AI #SoftwareDevelopment #FutureOfWork

What’s interesting about LLMs is the way they are quietly reshaping the way we think about software development. A few years ago, an intelligent system meant months of training, data collection, and careful feature engineering. Today, with APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models like Llama or Mistral you can easily prototype a chatbot in an hour or two. But the real unlock isn’t just speed - it’s the shift in the way we think. We are no longer programming HOW to do something. We are describing WHAT we want and letting the model figure out the path. #AI #LLMs #Innovation

In an era where AI transforms software development, the most valuable skill isn't writing code - it's communicating intent with precision. This talk reveals how specifications, not prompts or code, are becoming the fundamental unit of programming, and why spec-writing is the new superpower. #AI #PromptEngineering #ContextEngineering #GenAI https://lnkd.in/gEqGMUj2

OpenAI’s invasion into agentic coding continues - we now have a new model: GPT-5-Codex! First of all… I don’t even want to comment on the naming - this is getting ridiculous - but hey, let’s see what we’ve got here. According to #OpenAI, this model is a new version of #GPT5, trained specifically for #agenticcoding and improving results across the board. But there’s something even more curious than that… There has been a lot of doomsaying about the cost of models and the overblown number of reasoning tokens, which were increasing usage to unacceptable levels. OpenAI #Codex has improved this massively: now the model uses a very small number of tokens on easy tasks, and only ramps up on a few, difficult ones. Migration to GPT-5 from #Claude and other models is already underway… are we witnessing a shift on the coding throne?
