Q: Emily, how do psychiatrists handle all the notes and paperwork? A: Most full-time outpatient psychiatrists juggle notes in little chunks—some time after each visit, a block at the start or end of the day, and often late nights or weekends. The cutting-edge ones now use AI scribing with patient consent plus smarter scheduling tools. That way, more of their time goes back into care (and life outside the office). The PLLCPro app was built to teach exactly this—so clinicians can stay focused on patients without drowning in paperwork.

Hospitals can be dangerous places for older adults. Cognitive impairment appears to change where the danger emanates from, but not the danger itself. Yet another example of why an understanding of the #geriatrics approach to care matters! #PALTC Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed)
