Students at Don Watson Academy (DWA) learned about buoyancy recently by building their own boats using reclaimed materials like pool noodles, boxes, and foam mats. Following this experiment, the students examined real canoes, learning part names and boating safety tips. The students were able to take a trip to Tulley Lake where they canoed out to an island!
