The New Mexico Economic Development Department has selected Roadrunner Venture Studios and our coalition to lead a $25 million initiative to accelerate quantum innovation and commercialization. With the support of Rob Black, Nora Meyers Sackett, and the whole EDD team, our coalition of quantum researchers, funders, and innovators are building a quantum campus in Albuquerque’s Innovation District. By uniting national labs, pioneering startups, leading researchers, and world-class investors, we’ll create a launchpad for the next wave of U.S. quantum breakthroughs. This initiative will include: ◾ A quantum platform with access to quantum compute, networking, dilution fridges, and other essential elements of what it takes to build breakthrough quantum startups ◾ A private capital group tailor-made for quantum startups and aimed exclusively at New Mexico ◾ Commercialization training for scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs ◾ A new technology district in downtown Albuquerque fostering high-value jobs and lasting economic impact We've united with a top-notch coalition to make this initiative a reality, including: Elevate Quantum, Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, The University of New Mexico, QuEra Computing Inc., Qunnect, Maybell Quantum, Playground Global, DCVC, Quantonation, and Resonance. This is one of the most ambitious state-backed quantum efforts in the United States, and it offers a model for how America can turn world-class science into globally competitive companies. The quantum future is being built in New Mexico. #QuantumComputing #DeepTech #NewMexico #startups #tech #VentureCapital #USInnovation #quantum
