I’m thrilled to share that I’m starting a new chapter as Vice President of Aviation Business Development at Metropolis Technologies. I stumbled into the airport space about a decade ago, with little idea that it would become such a pivotal decision point—and ultimately a foundational building block—for multiple steps in my career. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, and I’m now even more excited to build on that foundation with Metropolis, helping airports enable better, faster, and more seamless parking experiences for travelers. What drew me to Metropolis was: - A clear focus on solving a real customer pain point with simple-to-use products enabled by elegant technology - A strong track record of growth—both organic and through strategic acquisitions (the SP+ acquisition is a particularly exciting step) - The incredible group of professionals I’ve had the chance to meet over the past several months—people who bring deep expertise in their respective functional areas, from product to operations to partnerships, yet who are all bound by a shared passion for the Metropolis mission and a drive to transform how people move through the world. Shoutout to Ryan Hunt Travis Kell Ed Krafcik Jason Finch Bob Reiser Owen Sanford Eric Roseman William Clay Jacob Doctoroff Elizabeth S. Windram Grant Nichols, and many more—I’m excited to be part of the journey with you. Looking ahead, I’m energized about the opportunity to deepen our partnerships with the 75+ airports that already work with SP+ today, helping to bring Metropolis’s next-generation technology to their travelers. I’ll be working closely with airports to understand their unique operational needs, deploy our platform in a way that enhances the customer experience, and identify opportunities for growth into new locations—both across the U.S. and potentially beyond. With hundreds of commercial service airports across the country, there’s a lot of runway ahead (pun intended). I'm grateful for this opportunity and energized by what’s ahead. Let’s build something great.
