The compact frequency extender series is part of the Eravant ACCESS line family. The focus is to provide a compact package that fits the applications with ease. The integrated output isolator further improves the port isolation to provide stable output power to minimize the challenges of various DUT input impedance mismatches. The contactless flange eliminates the tedious tasks associated with waveguide alignment accuracy during the DUT connections.
STE-SF1206-00-S1-C is our new compact X12 signal generator frequency extender designed to deliver 110 to 170 GHz output. Designed to work seamlessly with other ACCESS products like our STL series signal generators. This module features: 🔹Compact size with contactless flange 🔹110 to 170 GHz output frequency for 6G testing needs 🔹2 dBm output power with excellent stability 🔹-20 dBc harmonic suppression 🔹Memory port for calibration data access 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gKBjxMtd #D-band #ACCESSbyEravant #subTHz #makingmillimeterwaveaccessible

🚀 Mixer Spur Analysis – Double Balanced Mixer When I working with RF systems, mixer design is never just about translating frequencies. One of the most critical aspects is understanding and mitigating spurious responses (spurs). 🔹 In the plot below, I’ve analyzed the spur distribution for a double balanced mixer. Desired TX (RF) output → centered around 17 GHz Spurious components → extending into higher frequency bands A double balanced mixer offers significant advantages over single balanced or unbalanced designs: ✅ Better LO-to-RF and LO-to-IF isolation ✅ Suppression of even-order harmonics ✅ Reduced feedthrough and unwanted mixing products However, spurs still appear due to higher-order mixing products (m·LO ± n·IF). Analyzing these spurs within the TX bandwidth limits ensures that unwanted emissions don’t fall into regulatory bands or interfere with adjacent channels. This kind of spur chart helps in: 📡 Evaluating mixer linearity 📡 Optimizing LO/IF selection 📡 Meeting compliance requirements (e.g., 3GPP, ETSI, FCC) 👉 Double balanced mixers aren’t “spur-free” — but they strike the right balance for many RF front-end designs. What techniques do you use to manage mixer spurs in your designs? The image is my analysis representation for frequency, Please don't consider the amplitude as correct value. #RFDesign #Mixer #Wireless #Radar #5G #SpurAnalysis #RFEngineering
