India has officially launched a national roadmap to use artificial intelligence (AI) for faster and inclusive growth. Led by NITI Aayog Official, the ‘AI for Viksit Bharat’ roadmap and Frontier Tech Repository aim to boost key sectors like healthcare, education, banking, and manufacturing. The plan could add up to $600 billion to India’s GDP by 2035. Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted how AI is reshaping everything, from how we work to how we live, and stressed India’s need to lead in technologies like semiconductors, biotech, and quantum computing.
