Introducing VENd, our installation at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, part of the European Cultural Centre TIME SPACE EXISTENCE exhibition in the Giardini della Marinaressa. VENd is an experimental market kiosk system designed for street vendors and cities alike. As an adaptable system, VENd allows vendors to create informal markets while maintaining the safety and standardization that municipalities desire. Vendors can modify and customize the form colors and arrangement to best suit their business. The textile-like sweeping roof is composed of off-cuts and repurposed EQUITONE Export facade panels that are printed, strung together, and attached to a metal lattice. VENd was created through a partnership with Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University The project will be on display from May 10th through November 23rd.
