Before I joined Skyward, I was looking for growth. I was straight out of college and I wanted, I wanted, the world. I honestly had plateaued in my career, if I can be honest. And I kind of resigned myself to the fact that I likely would just be an individual contributor for the long haul and go, you know, do my work and go, home and really put my desires of being a leader within an organization to the side. I really found that there was a lack of, of clarity, uh, in- in goals. And I couldn't really find the, you know, the progression in my, my role and, and in my career. And so when I was approached by Skyward, that flame of, oh, there are opportunities for leadership. There are opportunities that I can grow within my career, just maybe with a different organization. And the more I talked with a recruiter at Skyward, I realized that I may have been stagnant in my old role when this can be an opportunity for real career advancement. And I didn't feel that other organizations were really spotlighting that. It was more of we have a need for this role to be filled versus we see something within you that we would like to cultivate in terms of growing within this organization. So when I was offered the opportunity to come here, I mean, it was a no-brainer. The work environment for me is great. Like it is, it's amazing. It is the most incredible group of individuals. There are leaders for each team. They share knowledge. They encourage each other. And if there's a question that you have, you can reach out and say, "Hey, walk me through, uh, this particular... Have you dealt with this scenario before?" And it really always feels like a team environment. We're here to support every team member and we know, there's a place for them, and we wanna see them grow. And that encouragement, you don't find that everywhere. I've known team members to leave and regret leaving. Culture, you can't buy that. And you can't find what we have at Skyward I don't think anywhere else. In my experience at Skyward, building the company we always wanted to work for looks like the current leaders finding talent within the employee pool and really cultivating that. I was initially brought on to co-manage the private D&O book, and that's since evolved into running the team entirely. Seeing that light I think really helps to bridge the gap and pull others up who may not have realized that they had those qualities that would make them a rising star within the organization. For me personally, Skyward invests in my growth and development daily. They see the growth. They see the work that you put in, and they are, they put you in certain positions to allow that to naturally grow and also provide the guidance to help you get to where they see you to go. Going Skyward to me means being a part of something special, something different that I've never been a part of in my career, never experienced in my career. Going Skyward means being forward-thinking, being progressive, and understanding that we're all working together to make this the best organization that we all want to work for. What I love the most about Skyward? The people and the opportunities. You can't find that combination at this level anywhere else. If I were to give advice to someone considering a job at Skyward, I would say that the grass is definitely greener here. This is a company worth taking a chance on, and I'm so happy that I did because it has exceeded my expectations tenfold. I don't think that at any other organization I would have had the opportunities that I've had in such a short period of time than I've had here. So I would tell anyone who is considering a job here, trust the process. Take the leap.
