What is a Patch Panel? A patch panel is a device with multiple ports that helps organize and connect network cables in a structured way. Instead of plugging all devices directly into a switch, cables first connect to the patch panel. 🔹 Organizes cables neatly → keeps setup clean and professional 🔹 Protects switch ports → reduces wear and tear from constant plug-ins 🔹 Easier cable tracing → quickly find which device is connected where 🔹 Adds flexibility → simple to manage changes without touching the main switch Keeping your network organized, secure, and easy to manage is what a patch panel is all about.

How to read product markings PTU/PTF-xxx-xxx/xxx? The symbols of our protective devices for CCTV systems and LAN networks often consist of letters, numbers, and additional abbreviations that may seem random at first glance. In reality, each designation is a carefully designed system that allows for quick identification of the most important product parameters. These are not just technical designations – they are the key to information about the functionality, application, and level of protection of a given product. Thanks to this, you do not need to delve into detailed technical specifications right away – the name of the device itself will tell you: - what connectors have been used, - how many protective ports the device has, - what bandwidth and transmission category it supports, - what level of surge protection it offers, - whether it provides support for PoE and in what form, - in what housing it has been enclosed? In this article, we have shown with examples how it works: https://lnkd.in/dQ28_jNc We invite you to read and familiarize yourself with the content, and in case of additional questions, feel free to contact us!

As electro-magnetic locks have no mechanical parts which can fail, then simply removing the power releases the door. These devices are available with different holding forces to suit the security requirements and, to support the use of fail unlocked devices, a battery backup in the power supply ensures that if power is cut, other than from a fire alarm, that the door remains secure 🔒 📖For further guidance, read DHF’s ‘Access control on escape doors’: https://lnkd.in/eDCENdQq #TechnicalTuesday #AccessControl #EscapeDoors #BuildingHardware #Locks
