I’m deeply honored to take on the role of T-Mobile’s next chief executive officer.  I’ve long been in awe of what this company has achieved — fearlessly reinventing wireless to serve customers in ways no one thought possible.   For a decade, I admired this team from afar — watching them push harder, move faster and think bigger than anyone else in this industry. And over the last several years on T-Mobile’s board and as chief operating officer, I’ve seen firsthand what makes this team extraordinary: a culture obsessed with smashing customer pain points and employees who bring an unbelievable passion to everything they do.  Because of that spirit, we’ve already become the most admired and customer-centric company in our industry. What lies ahead of us, though, is even more exciting because over the last 5 years we have built America’s best network and digital/AI capabilities that are far ahead of anyone else in our industry. We can and will truly Unleash the Un-carrier!  This team’s success reflects the remarkable leadership of my friend and mentor Mike Sievert, and I appreciate the trust he’s placed in me as he takes on his new role as vice chairman. I’m excited to continue partnering with him as we continue to rewrite the rules of wireless for the good of our customers.  Team Magenta is special because of how skilled, determined and thoughtful we are. I’m delighted to support this team as CEO and look forward to building an even brighter future, together, for T-Mobile and the millions of Americans we’re dedicated to serving every day.  Stay tuned.
