I like articles about #digitalnomads returning to a more settled lifestyle because that's what most digital nomads do. Our research shows that only about half of digital nomads continue with the nomadic lifestyle after about 2 to 2 years. And just 15% are nomadic for more than 5 years. This doesn't mean former digital nomads won't return to a nomadic life at some point - many do. i think of it as a lifestyle innovation similar to the gap year or the sabbatical. some will make it their whole life, but for most it’s a phase and there’s nothing wrong with that!
