Mark Zuckerberg: "I basically don't believe in delegation. Fundamentally, if there's a decision that I want to be involved with, I'm going to be involved in it."

Tell me you're a micromanager without telling me you're a micromanager.
Is that why Meta is named after his vision, a couple of years ago, that the future was a virtual world that looked like a 90s video game? Most people would have resigned at that point. Now he's buying his way into AI, and investing in creepy spy specs that will, very soon, be banned in millions of public spaces as no one will feel safe around their wearers. Meanwhile, his main platform – Facebook – is so full of scams and unbearable 'Suggested Content' it has become practically unusable. Apparently he is also now offering AI engineers $100s of millions of dollars in contracts, but still opted to scrape the LibGen pirate library of nearly six million books to save on licensing costs. As a result, he is facing class actions for IP theft that, in all likelihood, will succeed. So, maybe Zuckerberg really SHOULD step away from decisions, and soon, and spend more time in the panic room of his $100m Hawaii bunker.
