Yesterday at the AI Conference in San Francisco, I spoke about conversations as critical infrastructure and how ethical AI development has been core to Fireflies since inception. The overflow crowd and energy in the room was electric—but what struck me most were the conversations afterward. Folks from construction, psychotherapy, finance, and more all asking the same fundamental question: how do we capture what matters while protecting what's private?  Everyone needs secure conversations. I shared our journey at Fireflies, how we protect user data, and some practical guiding principles for building ethical products at scale.
