Endlessly going through logs or chasing down root causes after a failure is slow and costly. BVQ’s powerful analytics identifies patterns and dependencies across layers. With its over 200 predefined checks, it surfaces the why behind performance issues - Whether it's a misconfigured SAN port, an overloaded VM, or unexpected latency in storage. 👉 See how BVQ finds problems fast: https://hubs.ly/Q03BwyCY0

When migrating an #IBMMQ queue manager to a different machine/platform, you might export all your object definitions and replay them, but what about messages on queues? Unload and reload multiple queues at once with #QLOAD. #WorkSmartWithMQ https://lnkd.in/gPDsbHF

Data centers can’t afford inefficiencies—but without a standardized approach to asset management, that’s exactly what happens. Outdated DCIM tools or manual tracking lead to: • Inconsistent asset records across racks, servers, power, and cooling • Unreliable capacity planning and downtime risks • Compliance headaches from inaccurate data • Delays and fees when vendors control asset template creation Standardization is the fix. With consistent templates, you gain accurate records, faster audits, and reliable planning—without waiting weeks for vendor support. Read more on our blog → https://lnkd.in/gMt9mrbh. 🏗️ 𝗖𝗔𝗣 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 3 properties every distributed system can balance: C — Consistency 👉 Every read receives the most recent write ✅ Ensures data is always accurate across nodes 💡 Example: Bank account balance → All nodes show the same amount A — Availability 👉 Every request receives a response, even if some nodes fail ✅ System stays responsive 💡 Example: Social media feed → Users can still post/view content even if one server is down P — Partition Tolerance 👉 System continues to operate despite network splits ✅ Handles failures in network communication 💡 Example: Multi-datacenter deployment → Nodes can work independently during network partition 🎯 In short: CAP = Trade-offs in Consistency, Availability, and Partition Tolerance 💡 💬 Your Turn: Which property do you prioritize the most in your distributed systems? 👇

💡 Built a Cool Hack Using Semantic Models + MCP Server! Recently, I had some fun experimenting with the MCP (Model Configuration and Provisioning) Server and Semantic Models — and the results were pretty exciting. 🚀 I created a small hack where I defined a high-level network service intent (think: “enable low-latency video for a specific customer segment”), and let the semantic model handle the complexity behind the scenes. Here’s what made it cool: ✅ The model translated intent into device-specific config (no manual CLI!) ✅ MCP server validated everything and pushed it live across multiple vendors ✅ I could deploy, modify, and tear down services in minutes ✅ It even integrated cleanly with OSS/BSS APIs What normally takes hours (or days) of error-prone, manual work… was fully automated in a clean, model-driven way. 🔁 This approach isn’t just smart — it’s the future of scalable, intent-based networking. 🧠 Semantic models = describe what you want ⚙️ MCP server = makes it happen across the real infrastructure Next step? I’m looking into how to scale this across more complex services and dynamic topologies. If you're working with semantic models, model-driven automation, or MCP frameworks — I’d love to hear how you’re using them. #AutomationHack #SemanticModel #MCPServer #NetworkAutomation #IntentBasedNetworking #TechExperiment #NetDevOps #BuiltWithModels
