Throw away your script.. After shooting videos for founders who want to build their personal brands and speak in front of the camera, this is what I noticed: If you’re someone who is new and uncomfortable speaking in front of the camera, but you want to make videos Your script is the problem, Not the content in it But the whole idea of having a script and speaking it correctly word by word makes you nervous and anxious. Solution Write down bullet points. Make small notes. And just speak in your own words. (Like you're giving a Ted talk on stage) Worked for me in the start when I used to make YouTube videos. Not saying you shouldn’t make scripts. You definitely should. Just when you know you’re ready, comfortable in front of the camera OR If you’re in a film or a high quality content piece haha.
That is the exact advice I give to my fellows and clients. Syed Omair Sultan

2w100% agreed on this. When I used to make scripts, it made me sound robotic and emotionless. As if I was just reading text. Moving to bulletpoints helped make it look natural, and even feel natural to both the creator and the viewer.
