Teximp Automation has developed a new custom robotic cell for inserting rivet nuts. Existing workpieces are placed onto a specially designed base equipped with an integrated clamping system. Clamping and unclamping of the workpieces are performed using pneumatic cylinders, which are controlled by the operator via dedicated buttons on the control panel. Once the workpiece is positioned, the collaborative robot Fanuc CRX-10iA, equipped with a rivet nut insertion tool, initiates the work cycle and precisely inserts the rivet nuts into the pre-prepared holes.
