The Amazing Society reposted this
Last November, I was invited to the Sacred Valley in Peru to be a part of the Luum Awards and Summit. I had the pleasure of being one of five speakers during the summit to share my perspective on how advertising and the responsibility of brands can be a positive force for change. And how creativity and communication can serve as powerful tools for building a better world. But most importantly, I was inspired by colleagues and creatives from all over the globe, exchanging ideas, experiences, and a shared passion for making a positive impact, big and small. As part of the Summit, I had the opportunity to visit and volunteer at The Q’ewar Project — a social work initiative that empowers women in a rural Andean community by providing work opportunities, creating personal growth and economic independence through the creation of handcrafted dolls. A true example of how creativity and craft can be a tool for change. Grateful for the experience and the incredible people I met along the way! An extra thanks to Mauricio Rodríguez Vargas for inviting me. Thiti Boonkerd Hope Nardini Belén Contreras Vilchez (She, Her, Ella) Karen Grajales Estefania Leyva The Amazing Society
