Reviews of ’The Great Inflation Resurgence’ Lorenzo Codogno from the The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) has just published a review of my (with co-author Callum Henderson) book ‘The Great Inflation Resurgence’ in Business Economics. He writes: ‘I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, which is well-written, engaging, and entertaining. The book does an excellent job of providing an overview of the recent resurgence of inflation in a non-technical yet rigorous manner. It also offers a valuable hint of what may be in store.’ Codogno’s review captures the book’s core messages: how differing shocks and policy responses across the United States, Europe, and Asia drove divergent inflation outcomes, and what we can learn from the 2021–23 inflation resurgence. In the midst of trade frictions and broader geopolitical tensions, the challenge policymakers face in responding to shocks—as we analyze in the book—remains as relevant as ever. I post the review in the comments below. Our book was also reviewed by Susan HayesCulleton CFA, "The Positive Economist" "The Positive Economist" • in Newstalk. I post my talk with Susan in the comments below.
