✨ MEET OUR 2025 DESIGNERS ✨ VDW LIGHT SELECTION From Riga, Latvia, Ieva Kalēja and her family-run studio Mammalampa create sculptural lighting defined by raw materials, bold textures, and a deeply human touch. Each piece is handcrafted slowly and with intention, letting imperfections become character, and allowing materials to remain honest and alive. At Venice Design Week, Mammalampa presents “The Bride” Floor Lamp, a luminous sculpture inspired by the delicate flow of a bridal gown. Made of hand-braided paper with brass and steel elements, it seems to defy gravity: its cloak breathes, glows, and casts a weightless, ethereal light.
