Back in January, I quietly started a new role as Fractional Head of Community for the Reforge Collective: an invite-only group of product and growth execs from companies like Anthropic, Notion, and Lovable. Being “in the room” with this caliber of leaders has completely changed the way I think about product, growth, and tech. More than anything, it’s been a privilege to learn from (and build friendships with) so many accomplished, generous, and kind people. It’s also been a full-circle moment. Ever since I started working in tech, Brian Balfour's writing has been required reading. Now, getting to work with him and Tom Willerer to shape this community still feels surreal. Last week, my two worlds collided: I hosted a joint Reforge Collective × Reforge AI Summit happy hour at the newly redecorated Wispr Flow office (where I’m full-time as Product Marketing Lead). It felt like the perfect crossover episode — and a great reminder that community is the heart of this industry. Big thanks to Brian, Tom, and Adam Fishman for making the summit what it was, and to all the Collective members I’m lucky to call colleagues (and friends!)
