And it’s a wrap! We were live at Capgemini’s #BusinessToPlanetConnect at #ClimateWeekNYC! I was part of the panel on “Aligning Investments, Policies, and Technology for Future Resilience”, where talked about the critical role that public-private partnerships play in meeting evolving regulations while safeguarding both portfolios and the planet, along with my esteemed panelists Christophe Defert HSBC Asset Management, Daniel D. Solarlytics and Adam Schafer for the CHIPS program. Gil Friend and Bill Weihl kicked off the day with an inspiring talk on how to ‘Empower nature’s voice’. As per Climate Group theme, ‘It’s Time’ we consciously accelerate on our progress for a sustainable future. We were able to cover various topics including Sustainable GenAI, Circularity in the Automotive industry, Climate risk in the Financial sector and the rising of Green jobs in the economy, amongst other inspiring themes. At the event, we also dived into insights from 'A World in Balance', Capgemini Research Institute's 2024 sustainability report which found that 67% of executives agree their companies can’t meet sustainability goals without climate tech. My colleague, Florent Andrillon participated in the fireside chat at the World Climate Summit and shared his insights on disruptive technologies like AI and digital twins which will help us shape the future of climate innovation!
