Indian schooling system is adopting technology interventions, Projectors, smartboards, connected gadgets, customised learning apps, AR/VR, and other technologies. Technology has the potential to transform the teaching and learning experience.  A recent survey of over 3,000 parents from various educational boards (ICSE, CBSE, IB, and state-level) found that 87%+ parents would like technology integration in schools for enhancing learning. From co-teaching aids for teachers to personalised study guides, Technology can provide tailored attention to students. SpeEdLabs is working with 150+ schools to provide advanced tech platform, techno-books, full year Assessment framework and Teacher resources to deliver 3x impact in the over program implementation. https://lnkd.in/dKBWwpp4

I believe India needs to conceptualize and build solutions that are suitable to its unique conditions, needs, and especially constraints. India blindly followed the developed countries in adoption of projectors, smartboards etc. The wave of smart classrooms was a fad and died long back. Let us not blindly adopt technology in the form of hardware, devices, software, apps etc. What is necessary is conceptualization and adoption of a good proces(es) that is designed to fit the local needs. Tools and technology must be selected for inclusion in such process(es) very thoughtfully. One needs to focus on HOW to integrate technology "not buy" which I believe is at the heart of hybrid teaching solutions referred to in the article. While statistics about improvements in student outcomes or confidence are good, it is also true that students from even the best private schools go to private coaching classes or tuitions. Why? The real measure for success in revamping the Indian Educational System will be how much the tuition business goes down and reduced to a minimum. That will indicate that parents are confident that the school can take care of educational requirements of their children satisfactorily.
