Welldoc and Allina Health present GMI poster at #ADCES2025

Welldoc and Allina Health were proud to present a poster at #ADCES 2025 detailing the integration of the Welldoc digital health app into Allina Health’s diabetes program. This collaboration highlights the successful integration of a digital health solution into a health system’s workflow and #EHR to support a new metric for success in #diabetes, the Glucose Management Indicator (GMI). GMI is a calculated value based on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data. GMI provides a faster estimate of A1C, offering insights into glucose changes in a shorter timeframe of 10-14 days. This is particularly relevant as the 2025 HEDIS quality measures now include GMI as an alternative to A1C. This work highlights the value of Welldoc’s extensive research leveraging the power of real-time sensor data like #CGM and novel measures, such as GMI.
