In my role as Senior Specialist, Corporate Social Responsibility, I focus on understanding our company's performance beyond financial metrics. Specifically, how our operations affect the environment, shape our relationships with employees, and influence the communities in which we operate. To me, it’s about creating a positive impact along the way.   This extends to how we operate our business and restaurants. At Wendy’s, we take pride in our commitment to corporate responsibility. A key part of The Wendy’s Promise is ensuring that every order is “Made Right.” We embody this Promise by setting our restaurant teams up for success and serving our customers Wendy’s fresh, famous food and industry-leading hospitality. To integrate sustainability into every stage of our operations, we collaborate cross-functionally with business partners in Energy, Quality Assurance, Finance, Accounting, Facilities Management and with our partners at Wendy’s Quality Supply Chain Co-op (QSCC). That’s true corporate social responsibility to me. We have set ambitious sustainability goals as a brand, which I think is wonderful. Yes, we have more we want to accomplish – but we’re in a really great place, as our latest CSR Report outlines. I used to work for Wendy's restaurant in Ottawa, Canada my boss is a bully. I called in a day before my shift to I had to take care of something important.  Now he stopped giving me shift.
