Most SaaS companies miss the real SEO leverage point. They pump out endless top-of-funnel blog posts, hoping volume alone will move the needle. But the real compounding power often sits in middle-of-funnel (MOFU) and bottom-of-funnel (BOFU) content. Here’s the catch: even when SaaS brands try to focus on those layers of the funnel, the execution is usually broken. • The site architecture doesn’t support the content. Articles live in silos, detached from product pages, case studies, and solution hubs. • The page micro-structure (headers, flow, CTA placement, interlinking) doesn’t reflect how buyers actually search and move through intent. • As a result, MOFU and BOFU pieces don’t align 1:1 with search intent, and they fail to push users further into the product journey. This creates a dangerous gap: SaaS companies end up with a library of “content” that checks boxes in isolation but never builds a cohesive conversion engine. The opportunity? Rethink content not as isolated articles, but as a structured system: • Map MOFU and BOFU keywords against your product architecture. • Build internal link paths that mirror the buying journey. • Design each page outline to guide a prospect from education → consideration → product adoption.
