10 Years, One Mission

Ten years ago, we founded Nomad Health with a bold idea: that finding your next clinical job shouldn’t require paperwork, phone tag, or gatekeeping. Clinicians, the very people who power our healthcare system, deserve a simpler, faster, more transparent way to work.

In 2015, that vision felt ambitious. Today, it’s a reality, and a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

As we mark Nomad’s 10th anniversary, I’ve been reflecting not just on how far we’ve come, but on where we’re headed.

Nomad has grown from a handful of employees and a prototype platform into a thriving marketplace of over 475,000 clinicians. We've helped staff thousands of facilities, facilitated over 40,000 placements, and proven that healthcare hiring can be efficient, equitable, and digital-first, without losing the human touch.

But this isn’t a retrospective. It’s a rallying point.

Today, on our anniversary, I’m launching The Road to Better Care. A newsletter focused on the intersection of healthcare delivery, workforce transformation, and leadership. I’ll share what we’re learning inside Nomad, elevate voices from our clinician community, and explore what it takes to build for scale in one of the most mission-critical and competitive industries.

Because while technology can streamline processes, it’s people who move care forward.
