Celebrating our Seventh Anniversary

As you may know, ADN Capital Ventures, Inc. (“ADNCV”) is a boutique advisory firm focused on clients operating in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Our mission is to provide specialized consulting and investment banking services in support of the financing and implementation of infrastructure and energy projects. Our firm is very pleased to celebrate seven years in business. Our success and continued commitment to these markets are a direct result of the relationships that we have cultivated with our most trusted corporate clients, colleagues and friends.

In an effort to provide a comprehensive suite of products to our clients, ADNCV has grown its practice to now include project due diligence services, in addition to its existing advisory products. These due diligence services are available to clients to support their review of all aspects of the deal process including contracts, development strategy, management teams, counterparty risk, financing, and other components which typically demand specialized expertise as well as a substantial investment of time to properly evaluate.

Our clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors increasingly voice their need to generate more consistent deal flow. In a world in which time is an increasingly scarce resource, ADNCV recognized that it could immediately help its clients by performing project/investment due diligence on their behalf. ADNCV is well equipped to take over this function, allowing clients to spend more of their limited time on higher value activities, such as sourcing and closing transactions.

The ADNCV team has been involved in over 60 infrastructure project financings exceeding $50 billion in deal volume and the management of over 10GW of renewable energy assets. Our team has advised numerous national and state/local governments, project developers, fund managers, and institutional investors on their investment in and development, financing and implementation of infrastructure and energy projects globally. Highlight assignments for ADNCV in 2013 included:

• performed due diligence for a sovereign wealth fund on their investment in a major energy fund;

• assisted the State of Hawaii on the design and implementation of its $100-150mm “Green Bank”; and

• advised a UK wind developer on their investment in a 200+MW offshore wind project in East Asia

Further, Adam Nicolopoulos, our CEO, has been invited to speak and lead a panel on infrastructure investment at the Global Infrastructure Basel Summit on May 21-22.
