4 DAYS TO GO! HERE’S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT UKREIIF...
There are just four days to go until more than 16,000 property enthusiasts touchdown in Leeds City Centre for the fourth UKREiiF conference. Set to be bigger than ever before, with a surprisingly sunny weather forecast to match, we have pulled together a BR Guide to UKREiiF, with our top hints and tips, a reminder of who is attending from the team, and most importantly, which of our fantastic clients can be found speaking throughout the conference.
Making the most of UKREiiF
Last year our Founding Director Rachel Colgan and Managing Director Kathryn Reucroft attended their first ever UKREiiF, meeting clients, journalists and new faces throughout the three days. Here are their five top tips to getting the most out of UKREiiF:
1) Divide and conquer.
If you have a number of colleagues attending from your business, review the programme carefully and split as much as you can between you.
2) Location, location, location.
Double check where each of your programme events are taking place, and make sure you leave enough time to travel in between. Consider swapping events with colleagues if you will be in more convenient locations – rather than frantically charging from the Dockside & Dock Water Zone to the Pavilion Quarter Zone with seconds to spare!
3) Use the app.
This year, UKREiiF has launched a handy app to help you plan your programme individually – we have already plotted in our week ahead, from various panels and networking sessions, to early-morning runs and fringe events. The brand new messaging function is somewhat of a gamechanger this year – so make sure you’re connecting with colleagues and new faces ahead of next week.
4) Leave some time free.
That being said, how can you network if your schedule is jampacked without time for a break? Make sure you leave some time in between events to take it all in, explore the different exhibition stalls, and crucially – grab a coffee to recharge!
5) Wear comfortable shoes!
A minor point but given the sheer enormity of this year’s conference, you will almost certainly hit your daily step count before lunchtime.
Events not to be missed
We may be a little biased, but given that a number of our fantastic clients will be taking to the stage at this year’s UKREiiF, here are BR’s events not to be missed this year:

BR attendees
In case you missed our announcement earlier this month, five of our senior team are attending this year’s UKREiiF – Rachel Colgan, Kathryn Reucroft, Nicola Laggett, Natalie Daniels and Hollie Moore. We will be attempting to cover as much ground as possible between us, from early morning networking runs to a number of panel events and mixers, including with BusinessLDN and BE News.
Amongst this, we have also set up a number of journalist interviews for our clients across the three days, encompassing some of the biggest business and industry trade titles. We’re still working hard to finalise last minute meetings and lots of our clients will still be available throughout the conference, so do reach out if we haven’t spoken to you already!
We have big plans for social media takeovers throughout the conference, so keep an eye out across LinkedIn and Instagram for our daily digests and live updates.
Alongside capturing our own content, we will be working with clients including Barratt London and Abri Group to help inform future thought leadership content and to create social media wrap ups.
We would love to make as many new connections as possible, as well as meet up with familiar faces, so do reach out to any of us on LinkedIn if you’d like to meet for a coffee or catch up!
