5 THINGS YOU NEED TO DO TO HAVE A REMARKABLE SATURDAY!

Got this email from John McGrath that was sent to his sales people this morning. A Strong message on real estate grand final day

1. Saturday is the day that changes your life in this world of real estate more than any other. If you believe in 80/20 then this is the 20% of your week that changes your life forever!

2. Remember, good isn't enough anymore. You need to be outstanding! Almost everyone is good. How do you have to be and what do you have to do to be remarkable? Unforgettable?

3. Having a genuine desire to serve people is the key. "Wanting to sell them a home or list their property" carries a very different energy to a deep and authentic passion to serve and help someone through a challenging process. Treat every buyer that walks through your opens today as if they represent the only buyer interested in our vendor’s property. Forget the commission and focus on the person.

4. Little things make a big difference. Being punctual. Remembering their names and their kids names. A warm smile. Asking quality questions that help them understand their own needs. Listening actively so they know you really care about them. Having a clean car when you arrive to show you're a professional. Having all your paperwork and fact sheets professionally organised for easy access.

5. Value add. When people are buying and selling they need things other than just your services. They need the best home loan. A great conveyancer. Architects and designers. Removalists. Make sure you have quality connections at the ready to deliver remarkable service also. If you provide someone a service extremely well they'll probably use you again. If you provide them 3 or more services remarkably they'll use you for life and refer you to all their friends. Being remarkable, it’s is a choice.

And most of all...have fun. Helping people is an amazing buzz. As they say "Love what you do and you'll never work another day in your life."

Have a massive day at all the open homes and auctions. Be a connector today and make somebody feel important and special. Be memorable and remarkable in service.

I substituted Saturday for Sunday in your #1 since I keep the Sabbath and worship on that day and then work my butt off on hosting Sunday Open Houses. That practice has never hurt my business. I think your attitude DAILY determines whether you will be in that top 20%!
