Your deeds are the maker of your faith.
The era of digitalization is changing the way we think, read & react.
At present world's scenario, you can't fake things to make it happen. You've to work hard & smart to build a personal brand for yourself.
A brand name that worthy enough to earn you bread and butter with satisfaction in life.
What is Personal Branding?
So the first thing arise in mind is the question of what is this personal brand? Is it something we have to learn or develop? Or is it a natural gift?
Well, the personal branding is your real impression over the time on others; an own brand is something that speaks before you even interact with a new person, it is a story that people imagine when they hear your name. The personal branding is all about maintaining your brand.
So is it something that you can learn? Yes, you can learn it and develop it over time.
Is it natural or we can build it? It is natural until and unless you put some efforts to change and develop a positive personal brand.
How long it takes to build a personal brand? It is all starts from the very moment, and it ends until your last breath, but an own authentic brand can take a minimum time of six to nine months to build, and after that, you have to maintain that personal image.
From the last six months, I've rebuilt my LinkedIn profile & this journey from Zero to Five Thousand active connections is a fantastic journey for me. This journey of building my personal brand showed me many incredible learning curves in life.
Although there are many such people whom I learned from here I'm sharing seven such amazing people who build their personal brand from scratch & everyone can learn something from them.
7 Personal Brands that I follow in LinkedIn -
1- P. Nivedita – We got connected with a little gesture of care & empathy. But over time, I got to know about her fantastic working spirit. And her dedication towards society & the people she knows.
She is filled with positive vibes & I have never seen her talking negatively with anyone. That may be the USP of her personal brand.
One can learn about building community & maintaining a sizeable social family all together with no hatred from her.
And you can see her as a part of my family.
P.S. We share more than 250 mutual connections. A considerable number of trustworthy people.
2 – Sourabh Goyal – We met in an event conducted by P.Nivedita & her team. His presence in that event was so powerful & impressive. But after getting him to know with his profile and the work he's doing. I must turn out into a fan of him.
He is a humble personality with a clear vision & futuristic mindset. I remember the way he was listening to me in that event, even being an experienced businessman, he was humble enough to pay attention to a content marketer.
Maybe his humbleness with his vision is the recipe of his personal brand.
One can learn to build the right mindset & turning the community into an asset from him.
P.S. We share more than 150 mutual connections.
3 – Ashi Singhal – She is one of the first 500 connections I've got at the beginning of this never-ending journey.
She is one of the most exceptional communicator & an ever-evolving professional. She is the one who's adding more & more value in the life of her community.
In my views, her honesty for the community, consistency in adding value & her appetite to learn & implement new ideas is her strength for her personal brand.
P.S. I remember, I heard her podcast when she was just getting started with it. Now the number is more than 40 I assume. She is a pearl to the community.
4 – Amit Panchal – Amit is a digital marketing guru from which I learned a lot. The assets he has created for the community are so valuable. But the most important part I consider about Amit is that he's a kindhearted person.
I remember the first time I showed up on the gratitude for him in my post, and he didn't take time to add me in his network with a big shout-out for me. That kindness is one of it's kind.
In my views, his content delivery & incredible knowledge towards his subject is the strength of his personal brand.
From Amit, one can learn how to entertain & engage their community.
5 – Abhijeet Kumar – Deep yet simple. Abhijeet is someone who always puts a smile on everyone's face. Maybe this is the strength of his personal brand. He's always a truthful person who owns the art of winning the heart.
Abhijeet's posts are so impressive and entertaining that anyone can light up their mood by just going through his feed.
P.S. The lazy writer is a fantastic researcher, a humble friend and someone you can follow for no reason.
6 – Faisal Zia Anwer – UNSTOPPABLE! The first word comes in my mind while thinking about him. He's relentless with such high energy. Maybe I call him the "Ranveer Singh" of the Digital Marketing industry. He's filled with positive energy & some kind of craziness to make things happen.
This person is a must follow in your list.
For me, he's a friend, brother & a person with solid base knowledge in his subject.
P.S. We've some crazy picture together while attending "Startup Haveli" event by Sam Baisla and the team at Gurgaon. Other than that he shares a fantastic personality of goodness.
7 – Hardik Laskari – I can't complete this list without his name. He's the one of the busiest yet one of the humblest people I ever meet in life. Even being so busy with back to back events, he always makes time for his friends and family.
Before being an excellent writer, fantastic communicator, he's a noble person with a diamond's heart.
Maybe this is the combining strength for his personal brand.
P.S. We met at the same event of P.Nivedita & I can bet that he can help you in building an amazing LinkedIn profile professionally.
These are some people from whom everyone can learn something.

This may be something you are looking for, the tips and tricks to create a trustworthy personal brand, but for that trust me, it is a whole complete topic of its own to discuss.
But here I am sharing the procedure to build a Personal brand.
- Rediscover yourself – To establish a profitable brand of yourself. You must learn more about yourself, the every minute detail that makes you a person is the part of this study, it may take a day or a week to learn about yourself, your daily routine, habits, and everything around you define yourself.
- Redefine Your Brand – Now, as you know about yourself, it is the next step to build a reliable personal brand. Redefine your own identity, what value you can give to society and your circle, what amount you think is significant for them, and what USP you can own.
- Build a Plan – This is the next step, create a one-page plan and list down the targets and timeline for same, building your brand is may be a time-consuming process, but with the help of a written plan, you can easily make the path for your journey.
- Make an authentic presence – This is the part of your list, you may be an expert or a building expert of something, be genuine with that expertise, create some valuable content in your genre, give some value first.
- Develop and understand your voice – Your voice tone is your identity in the world; keep it authentic and consistent. Show the same view in meetings, in your written communication, in your social life posts, in your LinkedIn or Quora blogs.
- Create a Branded Resume – Resume is a summary of your lifetime achievements and a brief about you, it is the front page or the first thing of interaction with others, make it amazing and with make it matching with your voice tone.
- Volunteer yourself – Volunteering in different social, cultural and economic events will increase your chance of networking as well as experiences towards life, who know you can show up it on your resume or upcoming book.
- Advertise yourself – It may sound bad sometimes, but trust me, it is crucial to advertise yourself. You must submit your profile and resumes on different sites, go for more interviews even if you not selected for the job. You may have a new experience and network of that place, take memberships in different forums and societies of your industry it will increase your chance to be known.
- Be Professional and social – It may be two different things, but for a high-value personal brand, they always interrelated with each other. Whatever you post on your Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn profile may affect your brand value. On the same time be real, do not just post a different thing in facebook only in the sake of making an unreal brand, be authentic and on the same time be genuinely responsible for your actions. This will earn you more respect.
- Take reviews and referrals – This is a long-time act but very important to authenticate your real presence. Take surveys from your bosses, ask them for this little favour, ask your old peer circle for referrals, you may ask your family members for new social exposure and a lot more.
- Interact, and Network – This will gain you a reputation behind your online face. It will create your trademark in between your industry people, interact with them in formal or informal meetings, attend conferences and tradeshows, join community events and industry-specific seminars. And it will be broad your approach and increase your brand value.
- Keep in touch – This is important, you can make a lot of connections. You can even ask for references or reviews, but if you are not in touch with them, these all connections, references will fade with time, so keep in contact with the people around you, it doesn't mean to waste your time chatting all day long. It is the whole different concept to understand the value of your and others time and then to be in touch with them frequently and consistently.
- Be Consistent – Be consistent with whatever you do; it will create a long-term legacy for you and add value in your personal identity.
