The Absurdity of the Anti-DEI Trump Regime

Everyday there is some new ridiculous attack by Trump/Musk/Vance and his minions on America, our institutions, and our history. These White racists who are attempting to erase everything that Black people (and other non-White men) have accomplished and contributed to American society are now in control and are attempting to transform America into apartheid era South Africa or the anti-bellum Confederate States of America.

These troglodytes are taking down Department of Defense websites that honor American heroes like Jackie Robinson and Medgar Evers.  They are firing Black generals and replacing them with drunks, womanizers and sleaze balls. They are declaring war on Black excellence and trying to force us into second-class or third-class citizenship.

These actions combined with whisking citizens and residents who have spoken out against our policies to foreign jails in El Salvador or some other “Black-Site; or have spoken out against the policies of the criminal Zionists in Israel who are committing genocide in Gaza; or have spoken out against the criminal Putin and his genocide in Ukraine are examples of what this Anti-DEI administration is capable of. The U.S. Attorney for Washington DC, this week orchestrated the illegal break-in and expulsion of trustees and leaders at the non-profit United States Institute of Peace.  We are one step away from the Gestapo knocking on your door or my door.

One way to avoid this internecine destruction of America is for democracy and the rule of law to triumph. Trump’s supporters in 2024 voted for lower egg prices and bringing Christianity back into the public square. This is not what he has delivered “on day one” or on day 55.  Recent focus groups by independent researchers have documented significant buyer’s remorse from these Trump voters across the country. These rightfully apologetic voters are not happy with what Trump/Musk/Vance and Putin have wrought. The American solution is to this existential problem is to vote them out of office. Unfortunately, we must wait until the midterm elections in 2026 to vote out this compliant Congress and begin real Congressional oversight and possibly a third impeachment of the criminal President (he is a convicted felon).

The pernicious attack on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, DEI can only be interpreted as their support for Racism, Inequity, and Exclusion, (RIE). A country where RIE is the law of the land is not a country I want to be a part of.

Recently, two of my professional engagements informed me that because of this anti-DEI nonsense, I would not be permitted to use the following words in my reports or meetings with officials:

DEI, DEIA, Diversity, Diverse, Equity, Equitable, Inclusion, Inclusive, environmental justice, or gender identity.

Anyone familiar with George Orwell would know where this is going – fascism and totalitarianism.

If half of Americans want this and the other half do not, the only sensible thing to do is have a political divorce. We can honestly say that pro-democracy forces tried to bring in the barbarians before the Civil War, but they could not give up their economic and cultural attachment to slavery. We tried again to reincorporate them after the Civil War with the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments, but they soon instituted Jim Crow. And we tried again during the Civil Rights era with the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act, but they have instituted anti-DEI. The racists and die-hard Trump supporters will only be satisfied with White rule forever, whether they are in the majority or not, and no space for Black American excellence.

The dilemma we are facing is how to untie this gordian knot. Do the Blue states secede from the United States and create a new country. Does California become its own country? California, by itself is the fifth largest economy in the world. The logistics of secession are overwhelming. Who gets the nukes? How are borders managed? Who pays the federal debt? What currency is used? What type of governments would be established? These are just a few of the problems that make secession non-viable. We are stuck with each other.

The only solution to our problem is some sort of compromise between the racists and the democrats (not the party, but those who believe in democracy and the rule of law). This specifics of this compromise are above my pay grade. If we are to survive as one nation, we must find a way forward. This will require the anti-DEI forces to stop this nonsense and come to their senses. We will not be erased by Trump/Musk/Vance or DOGE. We must stop and resist this absurdity.
