AI for Educators – Practical use cases for schools

Our AI in Education campaign is officially underway, and we couldn't have asked for a better start. The first webinar in our series was a success—packed with insights, practical guidance, and forward-thinking perspectives on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in the classroom and beyond.

This inaugural event was divided into two focused sessions, each delivering valuable takeaways for educators, school leaders, and anyone interested in the future of education.

Session 1: The Role of AI in Education

Speaker: Al Kingsley MBE, Author & EdTech Expert

Al Kingsley kicked off the event with an insightful and engaging talk about the evolving role of AI in the educational landscape. Drawing on his deep expertise in education technology, Al walked us through how AI is no longer a futuristic concept—it's here and already transforming the way teachers teach and students learn.

He introduced a variety of AI-powered tools that are helping educators manage workloads, personalise learning, and make data-informed decisions in the classroom. But beyond the tools themselves, Al focused on how AI can enhance the overall quality of teaching when used with intention and care.

One of the most compelling parts of Al's session was his discussion on the four stages of teacher confidence in digital technology. By breaking down this journey—from initial scepticism to full integration—he helped participants understand that embracing AI is a process, not a switch to be flipped.

Al also tackled some important distinctions, such as the difference between traditional AI and generative AI, shedding light on how each serves a different purpose in education. He urged educators to view AI not as a threat but as an opportunity—a tool to amplify their efforts rather than replace them.

And what about those long-standing fears surrounding AI? Al addressed those head-on, debunking some of the most common misconceptions and encouraging a more balanced, realistic view of what AI can and can’t do in the classroom.

Session 2: AI in Action – Meet Bromcom AI

Speaker: Mathew Seigal, AI Lead at Bromcom

The second session shifted gears toward real-world application. Matt Seigal provided a comprehensive overview of Bromcom AI, the integrated AI solution for schools. His session was tailored for both current customers and those exploring how AI could support their institutions.

Matt demonstrated how Bromcom AI is designed to help schools streamline administrative tasks, generate useful data insights, and support teachers in making more informed decisions. The emphasis here was on practicality—how AI can be seamlessly woven into daily school operations without adding complexity.

If you're curious about how Bromcom AI could help your school unlock the power of artificial intelligence, the webinar recording is available now—and it's worth the watch.

What’s next? Join us for the second webinar on the 2nd of May!

We’re excited to announce that the second instalment of our AI in Education webinar series is just around the corner (2nd of May). This time, the focus is on practical use cases of AI in schools, featuring a dynamic panel of thought leaders and practitioners:

This upcoming session promises to go deeper into real-world applications, showcasing how schools are already implementing AI in meaningful ways. Whether you're just beginning to explore AI or looking for advanced strategies, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.
