With the development of display technology, the pixel density of small-pitch LED displays has been continuously increasing, and products with a pitch of less than P1.0 have now become the mainstream in the market. Significant improvement in display performance
The most direct advantage of high pixel density is the improvement in resolution. Taking the 4K standard as an example, a P1.2 screen only requires 6 square meters to achieve it, while a traditional P2.5 screen needs 21 square meters. The formula for the optimal viewing distance has also changed, from the traditional "pitch (mm) × 3" to "pitch × 1.5".
In terms of color performance, the miniaturization of LED chips reduces the light-emitting area by 30-50%, significantly improving the uniformity of single-pixel brightness. At the same time, the proportion of black matrix is reduced, increasing the contrast by 20-30%, and the color gamut coverage can reach 98% of DCI-P3.
Technical challenges multiply

High-density displays are opening up new application fields. In the AR/VR field, a pixel density of over 150 PPI is required; in virtual shooting, the moiré pattern occurrence rate can be reduced to 1/5 of that of traditional screens, and the camera's close-up distance can reach 0.5 meters.
Traditional scenarios have also been upgraded. The optimal viewing distance in meeting rooms has been shortened from 3 meters to 0.8 meters, and the readability of text has increased by 300%. However, the cost issue still needs attention. The cost of a P0.9 screen is 80% higher than that of a P1.2 screen, and that of a P0.6 screen is 220% higher.
