Appreciative Inquiry Podcasts Round-Up
Having just launched my own podcast about Appreciative Inquiry, I thought it might be a good time to let you know about the other great Appreciative Inquiry podcasts out there.
So, in no particular order, here they are:
Inspiring Impacts from the Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry - hosted by Dr. Lindsey Godwin . Each episode features an interview with a thought leader in the field, including such big names as Jackie Stavros , Ron Fry , and of course David Cooperrider .
I'm a massive fan of this podcast. There's a huge amount to be learned from the stories, case studies, and different perspectives revealed in each episode.
Powerful Questions, hosted by David Shaked . A podcast about powerful, generative questions from an appreciative perspective. Each episode is dedicated to one type of powerful question, such as 'What's working well?', and 'What's the potential in this?'
It gives you a bite-sized introduction to the question, considers what makes it powerful, and suggests how you could use that question in your life and work.
Positivity Strategist, hosted by Robyn Stratton-Berkessel . Over 130 episodes featuring interviews with Appreciative Inquiry thought leaders and practitioners (including me), over five seasons covering topics like Appreciative Leadership, Appreciative Embodying, and Social Construction.
One of the things I particularly like about this podcast is the very comprehensive show notes, usually including thoughts inspired by the conversation and often an exercise or resource to download.
Caring Corner, hosted by Katy Fisher and Kayleigh Barnett . A relatively new podcast that focuses on stories of Appreciative Inquiry in the Health and Care sectors - most often so far in the NHS.
The podcast also has a Linkedin profile - Caring Corner .
Positive Change Methods, my own just-launched podcast! In time this will expand to cover related fields like positive psychology, solution focused practice, and Positive Deviance, but for now it's focusing on Appreciative Inquiry.
It will be a mix of short episodes exploring aspects of Appreciative Inquiry in plain language, plus longer episodes featuring interviews with Appreciative Inquiry practitioners.
There are also some great single episodes featuring interviews with Appreciative Inquiry thought leaders on other podcasts, such as these:
I'm sure there are other podcasts or good single episodes about Appreciative Inquiry out there - what have I missed? Let me know in the comments!
Also, everyone I've tagged above posts interesting stuff and is worth following.
