Fourth“Issue #4 Letter from Saba Mirza📝 ARTICLE: MY MENTORS

Introduction

In every person’s life, there comes a time when someone steps in and changes everything — the way we think, the way we feel, and most importantly, the way we grow. That person is called a MENTOR.

We all have someone like that in our journey, right? Someone who didn’t just support us but believed in us before we even believed in ourselves.

So before going ahead, take a moment — think about that person in your life. And if you find them in your thoughts, take the initiative to thank them. Maybe through your words, your actions, or simply by becoming the best version of yourself — a reflection of what they helped you become.

Who Is a Mentor?

A mentor is someone who guides, advises, and supports you — not just in your career, but in life. They share their experiences, offer honest feedback, help you discover your strengths, and most importantly — they never judge you. They walk with you, holding a mirror to your potential, reminding you of who you are even when the world forgets.

But here’s the truth — a mentor isn’t always someone with a title. They can be your friend, sibling, teacher, or even someone elder or younger than you. What matters is— it’s their impact on your life. And for me MY MENTORE IS ALL IN ONE.

For Me, My Mentors Are...

I feel lucky to have not one, but two amazing mentors in my life.

The first brought a whole new light into my world. They taught me the importance of being real, staying natural, and valuing relationships. They stood by me when I couldn't even stand for myself. They gave me the strength to face the world without losing my softness. To this day, their lessons live within me — not as words, but as fragrance in my character.

🖋️ The second gave wings to my words. They helped me discover my hidden talent — writing. It was through their encouragement and belief that I became the author and writer I am today. They nurtured my thoughts, shaped my expression, and helped me believe that my voice mattered.

More Than Just Mentors

Mentors are not just people — they are feelings. They’re your guardian angels, your safe space, your mirror, and sometimes even your biggest cheerleaders.

With them, you feel understood — and understanding, my friends, is the most powerful bond in this world.

We meet many people in life — by blood, by chance, or by choice. But the ones who truly understand us at every layer are rare. They listen without judgment, support without condition, and believe without doubt. That’s what mentors do.

A Thank You That Never Ends

So today, through this article, I want to say:

💬 Thank you to my mentors — for your light, your patience, your wisdom, and your heart. You’ve made me stronger, kinder, and braver.

And if you’re reading this and thinking of your own mentor — don’t wait. Call them, message them, hug them, or write to them. Say thank you. Because they deserve it.

Unspoken Promises, Real Actions

“Thank you” — it feels like such a small phrase when I think of everything my mentors have done for me. Their efforts, their encouragement, their presence — none of it can be measured in words.

In today’s world, people often say “I’m always there for you,” but most of them fail to prove it. But my mentors? They never said those words — they lived them. They showed up, stood beside me, and supported me without promises, without conditions — just pure, genuine presence.

When I was working on my first book, it wasn’t easy. Being a writer isn’t just about putting words together — it’s about understanding your thoughts, choosing the right direction, and committing to a topic that speaks your truth. I struggled with that. I couldn’t decide the title, I couldn’t fix my thoughts.

But guess who stepped in? My mentor. They sat with me, helped me clarify my thoughts, shaped my ideas, and finalized the title — not because they had to, but because they wanted to.

And ask yourself honestly — who does that anymore? In a time where people ignore you with a single “I’m busy” text… my mentor chose to invest time in me.

That’s not just guidance. That’s KINDNESS, CARE, "AFFECTIONATE” and that’s the kind of presence we all crave but rarely find.

More Than Support — They Brought Light

And this… this is not the end of the story.

From the very first idea to the final book title, from writing struggles to publishing day, every single step I took was guided, supported, and nurtured by my mentor. It wasn’t just about effort — it was about the trust they placed in me, the belief they had in my potential, and the light they ignited within me when I couldn’t see it myself.

They didn’t just guide me with knowledge or correct my words — they poured their heart, time, and energy into my journey. They offered me ideas, gave me clarity, and most of all — they believed in me even before I fully believed in myself.

That kind of guidance isn’t ordinary. It’s rare, it’s real, and it’s affectionate in the purest form.

A Realization from the Heart

And yes — there’s one more thing I’ve come to realize through all of this…

We often take help, receive support, lean on someone’s shoulder — and in return, all we say is a simple “thank you.” But honestly? That thank you feels so small compared to the efforts they put in, the sacrifices they make, and the belief they give us — without ever asking for anything in return.

Sometimes, we even forget or refuse to say thank you at all. Not because we don’t feel grateful, but because we don’t truly understand the depth of what they’ve done for us… until later.

But now I know. That gratitude isn’t just a word — it’s a lifetime of respect, of love, and a silent promise to always honour the people who stood by us when no one else did.

A Note to All — and a Dedication to One

So today, I invite you to join me in doing something simple… yet powerful: Take a moment to say “Thank You” to your mentor — the one who has walked beside you, lifted you, and helped shape who you are.

Write them a note, give them a call, or simply whisper it into the universe — but let that gratitude be felt.

As for me… I want to say this from the deepest part of my heart:

I THANK YOU — not just today, but forever. No matter where I go in life, no matter what changes around me — your teachings, your kindness, your strength, and your mentorship will always live in my heart with A Huge RESPECT— as they did yesterday, as they do today, Tomorrow, and as they will forever.

And yes… one day, I will write a book about you. If you’re reading this right now, I hope it brings a smile to your face — because a book dedication is still a small thing. You deserve an ocean — no, a whole library. 😄

I pray for your life to be filled with limitless success, good health, and a long, joyful journey. May you always be surrounded by unconditional love, incredible respect, and endless blessings — in this world and the hereafter.

Thank you… for being MY MENTOR. 💫
