Asia Asset Finance Conducts Groundbreaking Lean and Change Management Training

On 18th July 2025, Asia Asset Finance’s Digital Transformation and Learning & Development teams successfully conducted a dynamic session on the Basic Fundamentals of Lean and Change Management. This milestone marks the first-ever Lean and Change Management training within the NBFI sector in Sri Lanka, positioning Asia Asset Finance as a trailblazer in operational excellence.

The session, led by the Digital Transformation team, focused on:

  • Introducing the core principles of Lean Thinking and identifying the 8 types of waste (TIMWOODS).
  • Fostering a change-driven culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and efficiency.
  • Applying practical problem-solving tools such as the 5 Whys, Kaizen Prioritization Matrix, and One-Piece Flow.

The program emphasized the importance of building a continuous improvement mindset and equipped participants with actionable tools to streamline processes and deliver greater value. Interactive discussions and real-life scenarios helped participants connect Lean principles to their day-to-day roles, ensuring the concepts are both practical and impactful.

This training not only strengthened participants’ understanding of Lean and Six Sigma fundamentals but also sparked a cultural shift toward proactive problem-solving and innovation.

We sincerely thank all participants for their enthusiastic engagement. Asia Asset Finance remains committed to embedding these principles into its operations and driving its journey toward operational excellence through continuous digital transformation.
