In January, we proudly hosted our ninth Food & Drink meet the buyer event, marking an exceptional start to our year.
Over the past nine years, FDO has experienced significant growth, establishing itself as an essential event for numerous foodservice professionals.
What is FDO all about?
Atom FDO provides suppliers with direct access to influential foodservice representatives from the hotel & leisure, restaurant & bar, retail, education, and healthcare sectors. It offers buyers a unique opportunity to step away from the office and engage with new suppliers in a relaxed and collaborative environment.

Last month, we had the pleasure of welcoming over 70 suppliers and 40 buyers to the wonderful ICC Wales and Celtic Manor Resort The Celtic Collection .
The event was filled with dynamic discussions, networking opportunities, and the forging of valuable connections. Throughout the event, we observed an impressive number of meetings, and we can't wait to hear about the progress from these new connections in the coming months.

Atom Business Events X FareShare Cymru
Back in 2024, we kicked off a fantastic initiative by donating a lot of leftover show stock to our local bank and we felt inspired to continue this tradition this year.
We reached out to ICC Wales prior to FDO to see if they had any donation spots or local charities they partner with, and that's how we found out about their partnership with FareShare Cymru .
As you can see, we managed to donate a huge amount, and it was received with so much gratitude. A massive thank you to everyone who pitched in with their leftover show stock, ensuring nothing went to waste!
Atom Business Events X Treeapp
Following FDO we have planted a further 206 trees continuing our promise to plant a tree for every attendee.
Over the duration of their lifetime these trees will absorb 22.45 tonnes of CO2, create 2 workdays for local communities and will reforest 1374.02m2 of land.
This takes our total number of trees planted to 711 since we started back in March last year!
