This August, we celebrated National Marine Week (26 July – 10 August) with something special: the launch of our new seagrass restoration and research project, in partnership with Project Seagrass. With research showing that up to 92% of the UK's seagrass has been lost since 1936, there's never been a more crucial time to restore these vital ecosystems.

We'll also clarify the crucial differences between carbon neutral and net-zero in our latest blog, explore how media can serve nature in our upcoming webinar, and ask for your valuable insights to help shape our new brand campaign.

New project: Seagrass restoration & research

We're thrilled to launch our new Impact Shop project: UK seagrass restoration and research! Despite occupying just 0.1% of the seafloor, seagrass meadows can store up to 18% of the ocean's organic carbon, and have an important role to play in providing shelter for marine species and supporting coastal livelihoods

By supporting seagrass with Ecologi you will be funding crucial research that can help to scale seagrass restoration globally, as well as directly contributing towards seagrass restoration in the UK’s waters.
