Indian culture is full of values and we are a nation with a handful of festivals to be celebrated. The month of August is just the beginning for a series of festivals to be followed in the coming months. We cherished Friendship Day(6th), Independence Day(15th), Janmashtami ( 15th), Raksha Bandhan(18th) and Ganesh Chaturthi (25th); and when we look back now at the moments we captured during that period, we really adore the month of August. August, in one statement, perked up the spirit of relationship, patriotism, and religion.

Festival Celebrations @ LetsNurture

The Independence Day was celebrated by stunning decorations in the office with tri-colored balloons resembling the colors of our national flag. Before the day started, all the employees rose up and sang “Jana Gana Mana..” in full voice with never-ending spirit. You could sense straight away that the day started with some special and unique feeling.

To bring the feel of nationalism, the nurturers were dressed tri-colors.

As Independence Day ended with some style, Rakshabandhan was waiting round the corner only after a couple of day along with the holy welcome of Lord Ganesha into our homes. To make that even more joyous, we held “Selfie Competition with Lord Ganesha” on the occasion of “Ganesh Chaturthi” for the whole week. Many of our employees shared their best selfie clicks with us.

Deliverables and Productivity @ LetsNurture:

Whilst August was full of joy for the nurturers, the team also did an outstanding job throughout the month. LetsNurture released iOS and Android applications along with a website for a leading and specialty-oriented Media production company in Media domain.

Deliverables:

• WebSite for Media production company:

We are excited to launch a CMS based website for one of our esteemed clients in Dubai, who owns a Media Production Company. They specialize in aerial photography using drones to cover big events and wanted an online presence for their company. Our Team had to study and understand their domain before we custom-designed this portal.

• iOS and Android application for Social Networking Website:

A social networking platform helping singles meet each other. The App displays pictures of users and you can either like them or dislike them. If the same like is reciprocated by the other users, the platform matches them and with that they can communicate. While targeting young users, the platform provides a cluster free and easy to use platform for singles to meet based on their picture which they upload.

Productivity:

• Making foray in the gambling domain, LN has started working on a Betting Site project. Interestingly, the betting will be done on live streamed video games. Fetching live gaming information from an aggregator platform, users can bet on live games which are being played online.
• We started development work on an online directory project which helps buyers and sellers from Steel industry domain meet at one place. Either you are a workshop, or a steel supplier, or just a stakeholder in the steel industry, you can find what you look on this platform. We have integrated Elastic Search to help users do a very customized and an instant search. This project is based solely on Angular / Node Js platform.
• One more feather in our cap, we started working on one more IoT based project. It is an OBD based vehicle tracking mainly targeted at commercial fleet management. We are making native App for the users to track their vehicles. Also, the backend, in Laravel, will enable the Admins and other stakeholders track their vehicles and know other details about the same e.g. Speed, engine temp, fuel levels etc. A must for fleet managers. The stability and reliability of the system is our main focus.
• Need a platform to meet Life coaches? We are making one. We started development for a platform where various life coaches can be found out and clients can take a live session with them. A through portal, enables chat with coaches via just text or Audio/Video platforms. Based on Yii platform for web along with Android and iOS apps, this platform intends to be a game changer for online counselling. Quality counselling will now be just a click away.

Skill Improvement Events @ LetsNurture:

LetsNurture always finds a way to nurture skills of our employees. In August, we organized an event named Hackathon for all the nurturers.

For Technology Team:

We divided all the members of our technology team into 4 groups. They had to work on intriguing projects like AR, Chatbot and Alexa Skills.

For Business Development and Digital Marketing Teams:

Our Business Development and Marketing teams together were divided into 4 groups. They had to give presentations on particular topics after researching and discussing with team members. The idea was meant to be something fresh, something unique that provides a solution in the real world.

The whole presentation was based upon following 4 questions:

1. WHAT is your idea?
2. WHY is it needed?
3. HOW will you develop?
4. WHO will you market?

We must say that all the nurturers gave their best and did a tremendous job during this Hackathon event, which encouraged us to think about organizing skill improvement events on regular basis.

New Joinees:

Many new members joined LetsNurture family this month to contribute and to learn in the blossoming environment.

Quite a few freshers joined us from different cities like Bhubaneswar, Rajkot, Mumbai etc. in different departments like Digital Marketing, BA, Android, and iOS. It is a great sight to see the family becoming bigger, stronger and full of enthusiasm.

Employee of the month:

Finally, the 31 days of eventful month concluded by rewarding the employees with Employee of the Month and Project Incentive.

Birthdays:

Many Leos and Virgos from LetsNurture family celebrated their birthdays during this month.

Focus shifts on September:

As the recruitment season is ON big time, we have plans in place for Campus drives in many colleges of Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Bhubaneswar. Our CEO, Mr. Ketan Raval will be on yet another business tour in the month of September- this time to Europe and the United Kingdom to explore further opportunities to nurture the lives and businesses with innovation, technology, and solutions. We wish him a successful and safe journey throughout.
