No! Not a Bad Hair Day. Tough time in my Life!

No! Not a Bad Hair Day. Tough time in my Life!

I was asked to put together a Video of what Coaching means to me.

In it, I share 3 of my favourite bits of unsolicited advice.

One bit is, “BE YOU!”

My son has been doing my hair since Covid closed my hair salon.

He has been doing a great job except for one thing.

He does not do coloring.

And I like to have my hair colored.

I like the look on me.

A lot of my lady friends have told me that I SHOULD go with the grey look.

I SHOULD become a “silver fox”.

I appreciate the suggestion but..

these days, I am trying my best to just BE ME,

And that includes choosing a hair color that I think looks good on me.

And if that involves shelling out some extra cash for some hair coloring, so be it!

I am finding that it feels good to feel good about oneself.

That was not the case, not that long ago, when I was not feeling all that good about myself! ☹

My approach in those days was to just shave my hair right off.

Costs a whole lot less and takes less time to dry.

I really did not care what others thought of me.

Because, in those days, I did not think much of me.

That brings me back to another of my favourite bits, and that is “TAKE CARE OF YOU!”

I was not taking care of myself and, as you can see, that was not a very pretty picture.

I am now though.

And I am FEELING a whole lot better!

Non Silver Fox version of ME (no offence George Clooney 😊) and all!

Sorry Shayne. Now that the My Hair Salon is open again. You are Fired!

Andréa! See you next week! 😊
