Behind the scenes of innovation. Inside Huge Talks podcast. Let's Talk About Something Huge #11

Innovation sounds great on slides. But how does it really work? That's what we try to solve in our Huge Talks by Huge Thing podcast :)

In this issue we’re taking you behind the scenes of our brand-new Season 4, a little different, a bit bolder, and definitely more personal than the ones before.

Some stories fit nicely into reports. Others just sound better told out loud.

That’s the idea behind the Huge Talks by Huge Thing, a podcast we create as a team from the very first spark to the final upload. We’re not using ready-made scripts here, just a whole lot of curiosity and a real desire to talk, where you can finally ask the questions that rarely make it onto panel discussions 😉

Day to day, we work with innovation from the inside out in corporations, startups, and local governments. We help turn the buzzword “innovation” into concrete actions. And in Huge Talks, we share that experience with perspective, practical insights, and (sometimes) with a wink. We know innovation isn’t just a catchphrase. It’s sometimes a doubt, experimentation, success, and... failures, that’s what we cover in every episode.

We’re now in our 4th season, which feels like a fresh new beginning. We’ve expanded the format, added new voices and topics, and this time, you’ll also hear more from Maryla Wojcieszek and Monika Synoradzka .

Let’s Talk About Innovation – conversations that finally stepped out from behind the scenes

In the format Let’s Talk About Innovation, Maryla and Monika still host interviews, but for the first time, they’ve introduced episodes where it’s just the two of them, asking each other the questions they’ve always wanted to ask.

What do they talk about? Everything that keeps them up at night. From how to spot real innovation vs. flashy “innovation theater,” to avoiding the trap where PR sparkle outweighs real change, all the way to unpacking often overlooked (yet practical) tools like the Three Horizons Model.

They share their personal experiences, stories of companies that try, sometimes stumble, and grow. You can listen to the kinds of conversations that usually happen over coffee after a workshop, and now they’ve found their home on Spotify. And you can tell (or rather hear) that in these new roles, they’re totally in their element 🙌

Big Ideas, Bold Moves – stories of those rewriting the rules

In our other new format Big Ideas, Bold Moves, led by our Acceleration team Maria Tyka-Majewska and Mateusz Szymański, we meet founders who’ve decided to change the game, even in sectors that seemed carved in stone.

From AI making its mark on construction sites to apps supporting the mental health of stressed-out founders and employees. These conversations are also packed with industry insights and deep dives that will resonate with anyone who loves getting into the details.

Each story is proof that changing the status quo is never easy in fact, but it’s often a path full of challenges and uncertainty. But, as one of our alumni once put it: “Once you climb through the hardest part and make it to the top, the view is breathtaking”

Psst… In this series there’s two episodes coming soon: one on the plastic debate: is it really that bad, and one on why implementing a circular economy is proving to be such a challenge. Stay tuned 😉

Breakfast with Huge Thing – short, sharp, and grounded

And of course, our classic conversation series, under the new name Breakfast with Huge Thing, is still going strong. These chats with experts from mid and large-sized companies kicked off our entire podcast journey.

Now refreshed, reenergized, and joined by new co-host Olga Dzieciatkowska, this series brings even more real-life insights. Over a cup of coffee, we talk about the kind of stories you won’t hear on a conference stage: from how cities prototype innovation to what really drives big business decisions behind closed doors.

These are talks with people who know their industries inside out, the true veterans who’ve seen it all. So, we can safely say: our breakfast journey is just getting started!
