#CEEWat5

Five years ago, on 11 August 2010, the Council on Energy, Environment and Water started operations in a single empty room. We have been privileged to have had the vision of our founder chairperson, Shri Suresh Prabhu, and the guidance of our current chair, Mr Jamshyd Godrej, and CEEW's illustrious Board.

Today, we are delighted that in five years of operations, CEEW has engaged in more than 100 research projects, published 50 peer-reviewed policy reports, papers and briefs, advised governments around the world over 120 times, engaged with industry to encourage investments in clean technologies and improve efficiency in resource use, promoted bilateral and multilateral initiatives between governments on more than 40 occasions, helped state governments with water and irrigation reforms, and organised more than 100 seminars and conferences.

We feel grateful that our commitment to excellence in research has been recognised and appreciated by our peers and policymakers across the world.
