Challenging our best to be better

We recently held our annual Chairman’s Elite and Alan White Elite conferences in Bali.  It was the first time we celebrated together in an overseas location. It was a magical setting to recognise those members who achieved results across the last financial year that put them in the top few percentile of the Ray White Group and in fact, our entire industry.  Especially as last year, we recognised a record number of Elite members.

This is a remarkable group of people.  And the lesson that they keep teaching us is that they are anything but ordinary. 

They are the ones who show us what is possible. They remind us to be courageous and to never lose faith in our own talent and ability. They ask us not to be rattled when we confront obstacles,  and if we keep fighting good things will come our way.

Each year they illustrate ingenuity and creativity to keep improving. Over time they are driven simply by pride in themselves to be the best they can be.

All are individuals, on a deeply personal and unique journey.

What was also clear is that these top performers recognise in their peers the sacrifices that they have made on their road to success, and the challenges they face to continue their trajectory. It’s an environment in which mutual understanding and respect quickly blossoms into deep and long-standing friendships.  

Our Elites ensure that all of our members develop a deeper understanding of both what is required to achieve such success. And for new people joining us, bringing with them fresh enthusiasm and energy, in the Elites they are able to recognise the achievements they wish to emulate, and from whom to draw lessons and inspiration.   

Their achievements remind us that so much of our market-leading position does not belong to the Ray White company, but to all the people upon whom our success has been built.  Our responsibility as a 300-strong corporate team, and in partnership with our business owners, has been to provide an environment that enables all our members to thrive and be Elite: to lead, to challenge, to recognise and praise, to deliver the best technological solutions, and to make people proud to be a part of a shared identity and brand. 

While our Elite members would be successful wherever they operated, our family’s obsession over the past 118 years has been to ensure that they will achieve things together with us that would otherwise not be possible, and that their best days remain well ahead of them.
