Colin Lennox: A Wealth Manager with a Vision for Inclusive Financial Empowerment

Meet Colin Lennox, a senior manager in Rehmann's Wealth Management department. Colin was initially drawn to Rehmann because of the entrepreneurial and advisory opportunities available to him. However, his story goes beyond the numbers and spreadsheets. Colin’s journey has always been driven by a passion for service and a commitment to improving others’ lives.

Having had an older brother with special needs showed Colin what it means to serve others. As a child, Colin saw firsthand the challenges his parents faced in navigating and accessing the right resources and benefits to support his brother. Colin reflected on this experience saying, “I saw my parents work to decode a very complex and overwhelming system. That experience fueled my passion to help other families in similar situations." He added, "I want to be the person they can rely on to remove some of the stress and uncertainty in their lives.” Colin shares.

Through his work, Colin often reflects on how seemingly impossible decisions can leave families feeling isolated. He views his role as a wealth manager as that of a problem-solver and an emotional support system to empower parents to protect their children’s future.

In 2025, Colin had the opportunity to make an even greater impact by being published in the Pathway to HOPE Resource Guide for Special Needs. Colin, along with 16 contributing authors, consolidated years of experience and knowledge into one invaluable resource, addressing the unique needs of children with developmental, neurological, and learning challenges. Colin's chapter discusses financial planning topics like governmental benefits and private special needs planning for families.

For Colin, helping families isn't just about providing financial advice — it’s about honoring his brother and creating a legacy that could help others thrive. He says, “My brother is a big part of my motivation. Every family I help, and every solution I provide — it’s my way of making him proud and giving his story a lasting legacy."

Colin hopes his work goes beyond helping individual families and contributes to a broader movement of financial empowerment. By actively mentoring younger associates and encouraging them to bring both technical excellence and empathy to their work, his ultimate goal is to build a wealth management practice that serves as a trusted resource for families of all backgrounds.

“We have the tools and knowledge to make a real difference. It’s up to us to step up and act,” Colin emphasizes.

We're proud to celebrate associates like Colin, who are putting people first and making a true difference in our clients and communities’ lives!
