I came across many people who say we are investing in seo not it's not giving conversions. I want to discuss this simple aspect which highlights issues "why SEO fail"

Choosing wrong keyword- Generally page is created without understanding the searching behavior of our prospect. we use too technical keywords or jargons which people are not searching/using. below example define what is marketing ready keyword

for example - Micker keyword is used on the page its is a brand name of wireless microphone. It has 100 average monthly searches. Marketing ready keywords are: studio microphone, buy wireless microphone for classroom, conference room, lecture room, Price of Professional mic- number of searches studio master cordless mic– 1k

Formula: consumer mood+keyword+industry type

Hence choosing the right keyword is most critical job of seo. if it fails then whole execution fails

Link/navigation is not SEO friendly: Usage of keyword in h1, h2 , navigation, alt tags helps crawlers to show your pages on results. If we are using marketing ready keyword then it can generate business as well,

Not understanding target group- usually we use keywords, content and design as we want to sell without understanding what client want to see on the pages he/she arrives. When visitor reaches on the page he/she want to check some specific information. if he find that then only he will retain or he will go. So try to define the objective of the page and add content, keyword and design accordingly. Do not clutter your pages.

Not doing interlinking of pages: In a house all rooms are interrelated. We cannot think to avoid a room Similarly pages on website are interrelated and should be linked to increase stickyness on the website.

Content is a hero of strategy: clutter the the enemy of clarity. Answer the queries of your prospect the way you answer on the sales call with help of relevant images videos to make it more interactive. your website will convert if it has crisp and clear content which answers most of the queries of your visitor.

UX and UI must go hand in hand: Website architecture help us in deciding what experience we want to give to our user. user interface has to be perfect in coordination with user experience to give best look. Make sure we are answering most of the concerns of the user on the page with minimum content.

Call to actions: Use relevant call to actions when visitor feel lost on the website. don't be pushy with lots of pop ups. that is the first thing which visitor closes.

Reason to come back: give knowledgeable content which adds value the visitor.

if we are able to win over all these factors then we can get loads of conversions in minimum spent.
